S/J AU - John is hired as Sherlock's chauffeur anonymous November 11 2011, 03:24:58 UTC
All I want is for John to become Sherlock's chauffeur and for them to get to know one another by having discussions and arguments through that window thingy and for them to eventually have some smoking hot sex in the car.

Can either be them at the ages they are now and Mycroft hires John to drive Sherlock around for some complex government case which Sherlock gets into the habit of talking to John about (and maybe John goes all BAMF and saves Sherlock from some bad guys at some point), or they can both be de-aged and John is hired by Mummy to drive Sherlock back and forth to university or some such.

Aw! This is adorable and I want it. Especially the second scenario, with uni!Sherlock. I can see Sherlock forcing John to go take detours every five seconds and generally being a little shit about it. ;)

I hope you're still around OP cause I think I really want to fill this. (: might get a bit long, I hope you don't mind. I do so love AUs. Probably going to go with the second option because of all the angst potential, but I'll have to just see where this takes me.

John is hired as Sherlock's chauffeur Part 1a/? anonymous December 1 2011, 22:50:12 UTC
Sherlock only had to take one look at John Watson before he opened his mouth with an, “Oh, dullMycroft remained impassive. He was always so predictable. If John Watson was offended by this he didn’t say anything. He only held out his hand to give Sherlock a firm handshake, which Sherlock returned. There was a brace on Sherlock’s third finger. Sherlock quickly withdrew his hand and returned it to his pocket ( ... )

Sherlock shook off the praise after a hesitation, not really used to it. “Yes. You’re uncomfortable in that suit; it’s tailored to fit you but probably the only uniform you’ve ever worn was from the army. Weddings. Family gatherings, maybe. Before the military, but probably nothing as fancy as what Mycroft’s whipped up for you.” He flexed his hand and his third finger won’t bend because of the brace. “You can take off the hat, I don’t care if you wear it one way or the other ( ... )

OP

EEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! The fill is here! I'm excited! This is great so far!

Don't feel a need to shorten any plans you had for this fic on my account. I usually like a lot of build up with my porn. That's no deterrent to me whatsoever. So however you decide to handle it is fine by me. Write the story the way you want to, at any length and pace you see fit.

And don't worry about the case. I can't write them at all, so I'm impressed anytime any writer manages one!

Ahaha, I like that the first thing Sherlock does is have John take him to a restaurant. Good use of your resources and money, Mycroft. :P

Really looking forward to more of this-- it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!

ii.
John learned quickly that driving Sherlock around required a lot of ‘hurry up and waitAt the Thai place, which seemed like one of those small places with exceptional food that never got any business (and it did look empty, if not closed), Sherlock spent an entire hour. John tried to occupy himself with the stereo or exploring the car’s hidden functions. He almost went in after the man, but Sherlock emerged with a grin and a box. He got in the car and gave the box, of curry and noodles, to John ( ... )

“Don’t be absurd, John.” Sherlock snorted. “I never eat while I’m working.”

Ha! I can just imagine John sitting around waiting for Sherlock and wondering what the heck he's up to.

And now they're living under the same roof and getting into danger. Yes!

Looking forward to more!

Haha I knew it wouldn't take long for John to see the trouble Sherlock got into.

I don't mind the format change at all. :D

sorry, John's sentence should read:

“Christ, Sherlock! I’ve been trying to follow you around for six blocks now, what happened? You just disappeared.”

i forgot to go back and edit it in the comment.
