In the gambling dens of a vaguely AU London, Dr John Watson has won and lost fortunes in a night. One evening he winds up playing with entirely the wrong crowd; Big people- Important people- the kind of people that make him feel he'll be lucky to get out of there with his life let alone anything else. What he never expected was to actually win...

His prize? A fucked-up, abused, brainwashed, mewling and randy sex slave known only as 'Boy'

Understandably horrified by the whole idea, he's a medical man at heart and this is all kinds of horribly wrong... John finds that he is still tempted by this gorgeous pale creature, with long limbs and dark curly hair, his strikingly slanted grey-blue eyes utterly vacant as he all but presents himself and begs to be used...

tl;dr John first meets brainwahsed and abused sex-slave!Sherlock when John wins him in a card game. H/C and angst and issues of conscience ensue.

I don't know what it is about part XVII, but there are so many fills for the prompts I'm tracking, I feel like it's Christmas! So yeah, thanks for filling this, you have one very happy reader here.

I love the atmosphere, how seedy that place seems and I love 'Boy'. It shouldn't be this hot, but it already is. Also love that Sherlock spotted John and wants him to win, it's a little sad, but damn, picturing him whispering that flaw in his opponent directly into John's ear was also hot.
