I think your stereotype is The Mad Genius because you mentioned in your application about (amongst other traits) how you judge people, either don't talk for hours on end or will keep on debating and you don't have much empathy.
I see a mix of The Intellectual and The Mad Genius with the latter winning out. In a lot of stereotypical cases, opposites attract and apparently you happen to enjoy the company of those who "are more down to Earth than I am and who enjoy watching out for me" - which is very John-like - so it would make sense to assume you're a role which deviates from the norm, which then allows for a foil-like character to be at your side. Your brashness and tendency to get bored easily also give you away.
I see you as a mixture of The Love Interest and The Intellectual. The latter wins because I think that your sense of power and your smarts are cleverly hidden unlike The Mad Genius. I don't see you working for anyone, but rather have what you need at your fingertips; you don't have the energy to run around and figure out silly puzzles. You aren't dominate, so you retain some levels of standing back and letting others run around like chickens. You get what you want, and in the end, that's exactly what someone like The Intellectual will get.
I'll go with The Intellectual, the one who is hard to figure out and usually gets what he wants. I do see the extravagance and lack of empathy that should point me towards The Mad Genius, but you lack his energy and motivation.
I see alot of The Mad Genius for you as well. You seem to do things on your own terms, and are attracted to the dark side of things, more so than the Intellectual.
