Like the original, this is a very adept three-flat-problem. Kudos!

omg remixer, what a total delight! I love love LOVE that you replicated the three-flat structure, and that this story is so dense with parallels to the original (John's dismay at all the apples, Sherlock becoming overwhelmed by intake of sweets, the build from "hallo, what strange case is this?" to a culminating social event) that it adds an extra layer of fun to a story that is a total treat, all on its own.

It also makes me unreasonably happy that this remix replicates the premise and structure, but is set later in the same timeline - it ends up marking the quiet advance of time (since Hannukah, Deborah has gone from "new girlfriend" to Rosh Hashanah co-host) in a really lovely way which is, I think, what these cyclical holidays are themselves meant to do. My only regret is that I wasn't able to read this until the high holidays had ended. Next year, though! (as they say.)

This was sweet, and nicely done within this structure. It fit the structure well, without feeling forced to meet the "A,B,C" need. And I love, love, love Sherlock and honey and bees.

This was adorable! The details were wonderful and I loved John in this in particular. I'm also very impressed that you followed the format as well. Absolutely lovely!
