OMG. This is so awesome. Adore the amount of detail; makes it all sound so real. (Like all the things Sherlock does just to get a rise out of Mycroft.) The writing and your Sherlock!voice are really fantastic. This is everything I would have wanted from Sherlock's pov and so much more. Amazing job!

And I'm so happy you actually wrote the caning scene :D

Thank you so much for this!

A really fascinating take on Sherlock's POV of the original story. I like that this fic really addresses some of the things that the original kept more vague, like the idea that Victoria was Mycroft's wife and what Sherlock's thoughts about John are. I also enjoyed that you really elaborated on a line from the original, where John observes that Sherlock's focus on Mycroft: John usually flatters himself into observing a slow build of tension when he is alone with Sherlock, but it has nothing on the way the air electrifies when Sherlock's attention shifts to Mycroft. Your fic really showed that. Excellent job and I enjoyed reading this, even if it's not my usual cup of tea. :)

This is a great capturing of Sherlock's thought process - it's almost painful, his unhappiness can be felt in every word at the beginning without being explicitly stated. I love Sherlock trolling John with the penis tattoo and the banana, and prodding at Mycroft. I think you have the psychology of the characters from the original fic captured beautifully.

Lovely writing here, in the flow of thought and the sensory detail.I like the fabric of the whole, as more than trope or kink. Very Sherlock, very convincing.
