Everything about Molly seems cozy and inviting to the casual observer. It's easy to see what appealed to Moriarty, who saw Molly's warmth and lack of guile and missed her intellect and steel spine. Sherlock overlooked those, too, at first: a novice mistake, but one Sherlock rectified. Moriarty is dead now; Sherlock is alive.

These facts are not unrelated.

I loved this bit. It's a perfect description for Molly, at least the way I see her, and it just jumped off the page for me. This was a sweet little fic. :)

I do love this. The concise format fits well for the Sherlock POV too. I think it's great for how Sherlock is shown to be noticing things not just about Molly but about herself and that Sherlock recognises neither Molly or John are replaceable.

The coffee brewing setup is an excellent detail, as is the Mr's Hudson intersection briefly with the start.

I like how Sherlock views Molly's attention as something to solve but it's not entirely detached either since she likes the effect of solving it, on making Molly happy.

Also this line (and the whole paragraph before it) is so good in its blunt recognition of what happened 'These facts are not unrelated.'.

Thanks so much for picking this story to remix, it is lovely to see.

Thanks so much for writing this story for me in the first place, haha! I looked through everything you'd written but still found myself fondest of this one.

:D
