WHERE DO I BEGIN TO FLAIL?

First off, I'm so INCREDIBLY delighted with both the piece you chose to remix and the way you chose to go about it. Those two companion pieces, "here, our minutes grow hours," and "until the second hand stops" were very difficult for me to write for whatever reason; I really struggled with making them work for me. This remix captures the feel I was going for exactly, that slow, warm relational build with just the right amount of John/Sherlock dysfunction. I love that you started with that almost-throwaway line about the row and created such a tender portrait of A) Sherlock's lovable obliviousness, B) John's adorable mother-henning, and C) the perfect amount of prickliness as they try to figure each other and what they have out. I'm so glad that you liked what I did - I read your stories & went 'What? But they're so good! Your work was such a pleasure to go through!

This was lovely. The list of reasons why Sherlock makes a terrible bedmate struck me as particularly apt.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

I'm just going to quote lines that I particularly loved, okay?

John is lovely in the mornings, being as warm and limp as the little ragdoll cat that befriended Sherlock during his time in Florida ( ... )
