Hooray, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I had a really fun time moving things to and fro and twisting them around. I'm glad someone in the comments for your story mentioned the original case, because I certainly had fun incorporating a hint or two from that. I didn't get in as much of the Poe references as you did, but it was tough juggling three sets of source material (your story, the original case, and the Poe)! Anyway, I'm happy that John's point of view worked for you. I love exploring his view of Sherlock. Thanks for letting me remix your work; I had a grand old time.

I really liked how you built up John's perceptions of Sherlock and death, and then carefully turned them around. It was sweet and believable. :)

Thank you! I enjoyed playing with John's notions about Sherlock's behavior, and how it affected their relationship. Glad you enjoyed!

This is just as beautiful as the original - John's concern for Sherlock (plus wondering about his sugar-dusted skin) is lovely to read, and I really liked the relationship John and Sally share.

Thank you so much! I had a great time remixing (which I've done many times, but never in this fandom), and extra fun playing with hints of want between John and Sherlock. And Sally! Poor girl's bad attitude gets her a lot of flack in fanfic, but I enjoy seeing her have some good banter once in a while. Glad you enjoyed!
