Something else: A lot more people will like your creations than you'll ever hear about. So even if you don't always find reviews and such...there are people out there genuinely enjoying what you wrote, even if you never find out about it.

It really helps me to know that people are enjoying something I wrote and making it their own. It is kind of addictive, isn't it? Or perhaps it's just the emotional state I've been in of late...heh.
