I'd say she was probably bi as well, but it probably made for more pithy dialog to just say she was gay. Although I suppose she could have just had men as clients without being attracted to them. Have you seen John's blog? They've got some stuff typed up on other cases, which is fun. :D

Yeah, I've just finished it. Loved the bit about The Six Napoleons (Thatchers), though John left out the best bit of that story, which was Lestrade's speech about how much he and the Yard admired him and Sherlock being so very touched.

Scandal in Bohemia is the one with the hidden papers, right? And a fire? *Wishbone knowledge only*

A Scandal in Bohemia is the one about Irene Adler. The King of Bohemia has had an affair with Irene Adler and she has a photograph of them together and some love letters. He needs Holmes to get them from her before he can marry his new wife. Holmes poses as a mugged vicar to gain access to her home. Watson sets a small fire outside her window and Holmes calls "Fire!" so that in the kerfuffle he can see her go for where she keeps the photo and letters. He comes back the next day to get the photo and letters out of the hiding place he saw her go for, only to find her gone and there is a letter to him in the hiding place that basically said "I saw through you. You didn't think I'd fall for that did you? The king doesn't have to worry. The photo will never see the light of day. Oh, and here's a portrait of me to remember me by." Holmes keeps the portrait of her and forever refers to her as "The Woman".
