It doesn't mean a thing by Tazmy -- Rising Challenge

Hey, I'm posting a story here. It's an answer to a challenge even. So, I'm very late answering this paticular one. This is a story for the episode "Rising". It's not a tag so much as a missing scene. Beware that it does spoil much of season 2 and beyond ( Read more... )

Great missing scene! I loved reading about Ford's family, and the dream/premonitions were an awesome touch. I could totally feel Aiden's pain and fear when he was discussing his grandpa's dream.

Thanks for sharing! :)

*claps* Bravo! Very good! Aiden fic is very rare, it nice to see some.

The challenge is for a tag or missing scene, so this fits just fine. :D

Thanks. Yes, I have no idea why I chose to write an Aiden fic. But this idea came fully formed. :)

Interesting take on things...Not often that I've seen any Aiden fic either...very cool. Although I don't go in for the whole premonition thing personally, I still thought this was well-written and a good addition. :) Thanks for putting it up!! :)

Premonitions happen all the time in my family, and I, like Aiden, tend not to listen. I saved my sister's life once with them (telling my mom that sister was in trouble and we had to go home now only for her to believe me and us to find sis being attacked), and we were able to warn my grandma about a house fire, and my mom knew when a relitive was about to die. I decided to give Aiden a little piece of this, and have him decide not to listen because it's easier to think dreams mean nothing.

It's cool that they didn't work for you. I wrote this knowing that many poeple just don't go for that kind of magical realism, but thanks for reading and your comments. Glad you liked what parts you did. :)

*huggles* Well just so you know, I didn't mean that as a flame at ALL or anything like that. Just opinionating in my rambling manner. :) I like your writing and your style. :) I enjoy readin' the stuff you put up, Tazmy dear.

Thanks again for the comments. :)
