Wonderful! You did such an amazing job of capturing the anguish behind living with his decision. I continually worry about that being so out of character for him, even though I meant it as a snap, panic reaction. I always saw it as something that would haunt him because it was so out of character. Thanks for bringing life to the after effects.

What a lovely story! Well done! Poor Shep, yet this ends on a positive note, but the reader knows there is no quick fix here :)
