i've been thinking about time a lot lately. not in the "i'm getting old sense", just sort of time itself. i find that remembering specific events makes time seem to go faster than staring at a calendar does. i think that in my head i've somehow made time an inamitate object. my emotional defense mechanisms are ridiculous sometimes

and they're definitely my favorite seasons too, especially fall. the leaves changing and the weather getting colder is just the nicest feeling ever.

Time is a crazy thing, and you will realize how much you miss those events that take place once you are out of highschool and off in the "real world". Keep your eye on the time you have, because it is priceless, and I wish every day that I could relive my time as a senior.

thanks so much for the advice, i'll keep that in mind this year and try to stay positive. i hope that north carolina is going well, and that things start working out :(. i'm so sorry about what's been going on on your end, no one deserves that bull shit from close friends. i'm here if you ever need to talk.

north carolina is good, and one thing that i am learning here is that everything has to work out somehow, whether its how you want it to or not. but nothing means the end of the world, and everyone has the ability to move past the hard times in their lives and friendships. its a matter of strength, im just developing mine, but i know you will make it through senior year successful because i have always seen strength in you. enjoy yourself. you deserve it.
