Thanks so much for the kind words, I appreciate you taking the time to comment... I'm scared of needles, myself, and that scene from "Epilogue" where she stitches him up always makes me wince... :)

But seriously, this is a lovely, just lovely story and I'm guessing that it's the interview with Peter Kelamis that inspired this story when he talked about a deleted scene of Novus Brody forging a needle. Love this!
