It took me about three time reading the first section to realize they're in the Underworld. It's a wonderful scene but I'd recommend that instead of starting with "Kahlan gasped, taking her first breath of death." to start with something like "Kahlan awoke in the Underworld."

oh no i cant be that obvious, though i thought it was pretty clear with the title and my opening, oh and the end of the last one :)

but i dont go in for being that obvious or clear, you can feel your way into it. Thanks for the advice though, always taken on board and very glad you were willing to reread over it to suss it out.
