Well I'll be damned. 7-hour quadruple bypass surgery where they also cleared out a bunch of his arteries and it looks like he's going to pull through.

See? I knew it was impossible.

That's good news! How far away do you live from him? Do you get to go see him?

He's about a half hour away. I'll go visit in a couple days when he has a little more energy

Don't be shocked if he seems frail. Those invincible grandparents can appear fairly weak and tired after such an ordeal. Don't let it fool you though. He's still an ox, I'm sure.
