So. Achieved a good haircut, finally, finally. I will never grow my hair long again. Until the next time I'm too lazy to go to the hairdressers. Found a dress for friend's hen night, in the nick of time. Also nice shoes. These are they. This was all very cheering. Night in question was held at the Pigalle Club in Piccadilly, which was pretty much ( Read more... )

I am rather hurt that you didn't ring me with your opinion on BSG. Mind you, I wouldn't have been in so...

P.S. We visited friends in Meldreth today (ah, the country life) (we walked their dog! they wore wellies! it were muggy!) and they watch Battlestar Galactica on DVD!

How odd. I didn't realise 'normal' people did that sort of thing. I thought only fandoms did this.

Not that we're not normal. But what's the word for non-fandom people? Fuggles?

Haha! Fuggles! Yes, I know what you mean - I'm always quite surprised when 'normal' people know stuff about Doctor Who and LOTR and so on. They tend to miss some of the finer points though, I find. But BSG is very good!

I may attempt haircut pics at some point. Although tomorrow I have to design a 'Christmas party guide', which may drain me entirely of energy.

OMG SHOES.

Ermmm, I mean, they are very cute and I would like them for myself, thank you muchly. ;-)

Anne Elliot is my hero. Everyone raves about Eliza, and yes, she is amazing and deliciously snarky, but Anne is so wise and perfect and me. Le sigh. :)

Marks and Sparks - when all else fails. :)

Anne is kind of a low-key heroine, but a heroine for all that! It's almost like, it's not till the end of the story that you realise how strong she is.
