Hi!

Sorry if I owe you comments or emails - too tired to type words that make sense.

Ok, for some reason I appear to be watching Maid in Manhattan. This film is so incredibly DUMB my eyes have actually spontaneously combusted, drilled themselves back into my head and are now in the process of growing out of my scalp like hair. They are attempting to ( Read more... )

LOL...I'm so sorry about your eyes. Be careful about them, rugburn on your eyes can be very painful. Sadly I know this from experience!

I actually enjoy that film...hee...just for the sheer mindless fluff of it all. Sometimes I just want to be entertained, though I suppose if your eyes have combusted, you're not terribly entertained...hee!

I'm all for fluff! Mindless fluff for all, I say. That one just went a bit too far over the dumb line for me. I didn't buy either the angelic weirdo child, or the angelic Republican. And I thought it was very unprofessional of her to borrow that suit, haha.

One of my favourite bits of fluff is The Truth About Cats and Dogs, which I think stays the right side of the dumb line. Mind you, I haven't seen it for a few years - my dumb meter may need tuning.

Hee...yes, The Truth About Cats and Dogs is definitely a much higher caliber of fluff. While You Were Sleeping is my all time favorite rom-com, I've watched that a zillion times. And Someone Like You tiptoes close to the dumb line but its Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd so I just can't find fault with it. :P

I think it was done a bit better by Ally Sheedy in Maid to Order, or maybe it's just that I like her better than J-Lo.

Yeah, I do find J-Lo a bit hard to warm to. I just don't ever really care what happens to her.
