Oh, how I should be asleep right now. Oh well.

Things include:

  • Books: however did I ever cope without Lord Peter Wimsey to accompany me on bus journeys? My quality of life has improved tenfold.
  • But my iPod is unwell, which takes the edge off it a bit.
  • Our household has finally discovered The Mighty Boosh. IMMEDIATE OBSESSION ENSUES! Although ( Read more... )

I tried the Mighty Boosh and it left me somewhat cold.

I feel I have failed at fandom.

Oh you have, yes, you're a terrible failure.

Actually I wasn't at all keen on it the first time round, but now I am COMPLETELY OBSESSESSSSED! I don't even know how that happened.

*is confused*

Talk to me in a week, it'll be something else...

It's a grower, eh? divine_miss_j and rossywar are big Boosh girlies!

Morning, Duckie. Can I go back to sleep now, please?

Whoa, the Torchwood site is exceptionally awesome and funny as hell.

Isn't it cool!! I love that Toshiko downloaded all the Tintin books, and Ianto knows 'what happened to the pens', and Cary's profound thoughts on Orlando Bloom. And the 'intercepted blog'. And everyone's snapshots! And the interview with the partially completed cyberman is creepy as hell.

I, er, may have spent a bit of time there, yes.

Oh my goodness! So much going on! Duckie -- careful -- you might pop.

I love brief obsessions too. My goodness, but they're useful for giving you a gleam at an otherwise banal moment, eg. waiting in the queue at the newsagent's to buy a public transport ticket. *obsession gleam* *okay!*

Hello.

Oh, that is the absolute BEST thing about obsessions -- I'm so glad you understand! :)

Hi.

it's like someone stroking your heart very slyly, with a perfect smile, all inside you. also, it distracts marvellously from the dire reality of real life and the greasy washingup.

was it the peter wimsey books that were made into a tv series starring anthony andrews or am i thinking about the scarlet pimpernel?

No, you are thinking of the Scarlet Pimpernel. But Wimsey was adapted for tv twice, first in the early 70s, with Lord Peter played by Ian Carmichael, and then again in the late 80s with Edward Petheridge.

Hee, yes, that was much fun. I love the boosh. But... how did you know?

Are you psychic?

*gives you suspicious looks*
