wtf?

Sep 14, 2006 20:20

I am sitting here doing nothing. I can't even be bothered to eat anything. I know I'm tired, but this is ridiculous. Actually, I'm very tired. I cancelled my driving lesson. I was so tired at work I did everything very badly. But I must go and forage.

Tell me something fun, I beseech you, for when I come back from foraging.

driving, tired, whinge

I thought this was a joke, but they like to discuss it seriously, which takes it to a different level of hilarity.

One Sunday afternoon,Tonde and I were out for a walk and stopped to sit by a small pond. A duck waddled up to us, as if to say, "HELLO!" but was quickly distracted, choosing instead to gobble bugs that were swarming nearby. After a brief moment of acting bird-like, thus allowing Tonde to snap several pictures, the duck retreated to the water. He/She swam away from us for a moment, before turning back, treading water just short of the bank as if measuring our worthiness. In truth, we must not have measured up, for our would-be feathered friend turned to swim a short way away before he/she dove down, presenting us with a ducky backside pointing high as if to say, "Shove off, you landlubbers! Kiss my finely feathered arse ( ... )

Of course you would have served tea, dear! And you would never have shown us your feathered butt. Well, you might have, but only in the nicest way. *winks*
