Good lord, yes, Sheldon's glare in the car. He's definitely one of the adults in this episode, and that's a good thing, after all the infantilizing and beat-downs recently.
Maybe it's just me, but I would be really glad if the writers could get off the merry-go-round of drunk=hilarious at some point, and let Penny grow up, and out of the same behaviour. I know it's a sit-com staple, but character-wise, I'm not sure how they hope to convince an audience that a party girl/border-line lush will ever get together with someone whose back-story indicates family issues relating to alcohol abuse. And if they go down the route of 'loosening Sheldon up' with a few drinks, I will be disappointed by the lazy writing.
This. I really really don't want Sheldon to get drunk again. When Penny spiked his Diet Coke that was cute and funny. Please writers, don't start Sheldon down the road of poor judgement (ie the whole foundation of L/P)
Sheldon is walking around the tree and looking for the perfect spot to place Sir Isaac ... and he finally settles upon the exact spot ("Sir Isaac can go right next to this little candy cane") that Penny had suggested.
