Also I forgot to add, I think Penny is more attracted to Sheldon deep down. He challenges her, he fascinates her and she continuously looks for his approval. I think Leonard believes Sheldon has no idea which is the only thing that stops him from getting jealous of S/P. Because if Sheldon began to show any signs of sexuality, he should be concerned with how close S/P looked in that episode, LOL.

This is awesome. And I have to say, even though Leonard was being a jerk, I didn't mind him that much this ep. Perhaps it was because this wasn't an L/P episode? Who knows. (Leonard in TADD was brilliant though, so maybe that IS the reason.)

Also, I loved that after Penny started crying and asks Sheldon what Leonard was working on, he sits down next to her and tells her in a gentle voice. Aww.

Damn, Bernadette is precious. Howard, don't ever let her go.

Yes, that struck me right away as well. ^^ It was subtle, but also perfect in it’s deliver by Jim, Sheldon’s voice definitely became calmer and more gentle when faced with a distressed Penny. Additionally, it’s not the only time we’ve witnessed this happen in one form or another, and I love those little moments when Penny brings out a softer side of Sheldon, even if it’s faint, even if it’s brief… it’s there.

You know I love you and your breakdowns right? Because I really do. I don't have a lot to add tonight because you said it all perfectly to me, and I am feeling a little sleepy but I wanted to make sure to comment. This episode meant so much more for Sheldon and Penny. If you look at the nuances of it all, just the looks they give each other, their reactions it all comes down to SP doesn't it? I find it very telling that the end of episode there was no real focus on LP at all -- you would have thought Leonard would have had more reaction. But not, it was all about Sheldon and Penny just the way it should be ( ... )
