Basically, an LJ friend of mine recently got into the show, and she's somewhere in the middle of S2 right now, and although she enjoys the dynamic Sheldon/Penny have, she's not sure if she can see them together ever, and I mentioned that I read a few fics that really showed me that it's possible. Ah man. My go-to authors are cereal and montycrowly. As in, anything they write. There are many more but they're my first two recs for any occasion. BUT damalur's Your Sudden But Inevitable Betrayal just recently blew my mind.

You'll never find me on any rec list, but those few that do like my stuff say that I really keep them in character and make it realistic. I certainly try too. You can find them all under my tag here. And all but one are fairly short, quick reads, and the other is in 5 parts, but only about 5,000 words or so.

annakovsky's The Failure of Einstein's Paradox is probably the most-recced I've ever seen on delicious and there's a good reason why.

OMG Yeah I agree here, that fic was spot on, it felt very Sheldon and worked right. I second that fic, you've gotta read it!!
