Wow. First off I want to thank you for putting so much effort into this -- it shows and its awesome. And of course, this episode deserves nothing less. You covered pretty much all my thoughts on it although you put it much more eloquently then I ever could. I don't even know where to begin. I completely agree with you; it was the best episode of the series. I loved every minute of it. Perhaps it was my shipper heart bias, but I loved every character, had lots of laughs, and most importantly it stole my heart (especially at the end...omg). When watching this episode I kept on thinking, this cannot get any better. Then something would happen, and I would be saying to myself, its getting better. Its like the writers of the show gave us shippers a great big gift. I also took it as a big hint, its not happening now, but wait

Neither Penny nor Sheldon made any mention of Leonard at all. I was so glad that there was no L/P interaction AT ALL in this ep (hee) I didn't even notice this. You're right. Sheldon I can understand, but Penny never once says, "I wish Leonard was here." She doesn't call him to let him know what happened or ask Sheldon to call. (We would have been privy to a crazy phone call with high Leonard then but nope nada.)
*raises hand* The Chinese characters for soup and courage look nothing alike. Which means one of two things. First, Penny was misinformed about the character she got tattooed to her butt. Either someone lied to her or she can't use the internet for research. I find it difficult to believe a tattoo parlor would have the wrong character, but it's possible, I suppose. Second, Sheldon was having her on. I like that one, because it implies he looked long enough to read it and process it.
