An exchange is a fandom event in which gifts (most commonly fan fic, although fan art, fan mixes, and other types of fanworks are sometimes included) are exchanged. Assignments are typically kept secret until the gifts are revealed. Exchanges happen at all times throughout the year, but are most common during the holidays.

Saturnalia is ours. It's a Sheldon/Penny exchange. All types of fanworks are permitted, but yes, most gifts are fic.
