Offering for Help_Japan? Post here.
It wasn't so long ago we all banded together to produce remarkable results for help_haiti and produce a remarkable amount of fanworks for the community. I know there's already some talk on my friendslist and twitter feed for participating in the help_japan auctions - so I figured we should have a central post here, once again, for people from the community offering fics, art, etc. If you have the time and money to spare, I highly encourage you offer or bid.

If there are any other community ideas for participating, let me know. We've done it before, and again, the results were pretty great. Let's step up again and help some people out.
ETA: As an FYI, there is a vetted list of charities at help_japan right here. (As an aside, Architecture for Humanity is not on it, but a charity we used frequently during the Haiti auctions, and one that I personally support. Their donation page for Japan is here.)

ETA3: allthingsholy and I just did maths! Which is fun times for former lit majors. But as of 03/14/11 at 12:25 PM, we have a total of $860 between everyone's auctions and lightning rounds. $860 in way less than 24 hours! You guys are bananas awesome. So please, consider putting up an auction or bidding. We can easily break four figures on this one. I'm willing to start busting some butts and trying to meet our goal of $1/member if you are. That would mean over $3Ks for helping Japan rebuild and save lives. We did $2600 last time.
Things to consider: Will your company match donations that you make? We will count those toward our total. Encourage other fans toward the UNICEF page. We can also count those. Any other ideas, hit me with 'em. This is what I'll be doing tonight. Remember, lightning rounds (or buy it now, in this case) are quick ways to up our totals. And keep your eyes peeled, since allthingsholy and I will also be putting together a post tonight on her journal about a new way to exchange fics for donations that will help you get that dream fic you always wanted.
