This challenge is a bit different from our other writing challenges, so please read the following rules carefully!
This is a race! That means that the first two fills for each prompt -- the first for the 250 word category and the first for the 500+ word category -- will receive the points. If a prompt is filled, then move on to a different one. There will be threads below for you to reply to with links to your fills.

You will notice that our prompt table currently has 30 prompts and 70 places that say "TBA" [to be announced]. This is because we are staggering the release of our prompts in order to accommodate people living in various time zones, and keeping various schedules. We hope this gives everyone a fair chance to grab some prompts!
The second wave of prompts will be sometime in the early hours of Saturday morning and the last wave will be late Saturday evening. [U.S. time]
