Ah. I love this SFM. I love how you vid out all these scenes... the one where Sheldon confronts on his rescuing her. I have no clue why but it screamed "COUPLE!" to me. I just feel the chemistry bursting out my computer screen. Especially both him backing her up scenes and the stare down one to Leonard. MMM. Chemistry, how I miss you.
The only thing I really enjoyed about this episode was Raj and his shirt. As you pointed out there were a lot of interesting moments but for me they didn't string together well and pretty much every interaction between the boys from the moment Howard held up the ticket annoyed me. You win some you lose some.
I did feel that way when I first watched it, but I really did find it much more enjoyable the second time around. And I thought Leonard was a great friend in the scene where they came back from the court. Yes, he teased him, but it was after sincerely asking, and then when Sheldon was clearly fine, then he teased him, and it was of a friendly jibing kind.
Thank you for the breakdown. I was watching this episode earlier and I have to point out Kaley's facial expressions just before the "moving finger" speech. She pulls it off so well and at the same time I was feeling sorry for Sheldon, I was feeling sorry for Penny because of her facial expressions. At one point she looked like she was going to cry. It's when she says; "Maybe you'll have another chance to have." before he cuts her off. Kaley's acting has grown so much over the years, for me at least. I was a Charmed fan and I remember her crying as Billie. I believed in Penny's facial expressions more in that moment than I did watching Billie break down and cry. Good job at growing Miss Cuoco.
Yeah, Kaley did a fabulous job. I don't mean to ram the point home, but she is absolutely at her best opposite Jim Parsons. Hands-down.
I haven't started watching her season of Charmed yet, (I do have it though), but I can tell you that even over the course of this show, she's improved in leaps and bounds. Go Kaley!
First off, thanks SO much for your hard work, especially with all the damn miscellaneous stuff. I'm actually glad they're there because as I know next to nothing about comic books it was fun to skim through them and not feel like a complete nerd failure.
After reading your comments I don't dislike Leonard as much as I did... when I first saw the taping I lumped him in with Howard. I'm still not happy about his comments, though. I dunno, they just don't ring very friendly...ly with me.
I still greatly enjoyed the episode, because of my taping bias, but oh well. I see people's problems with it--some of them, because as you know I think some people's problems are an overreaction. But that's a different discussion.
Moving on ... I really loved the undertones of the scene where Sheldon felt betrayed by Penny, and then Penny so fervently denied that betrayal, and the back and forth that ... [INSERT EPIC SHIPPER ANALYSIS HERE] ... he didn't want that glossed over; it meant something to him.I originally was just going to copy that one line

Yes, we disagree about the suit, but definitely do agree about the awesome of Kaley. She was on fire this episode. GO KALEY!
Moments like her saying she knows important stuff about Leonard because she cares, and then not knowing, and then going all balls-out for Sheldon, are those things I can't help but look at and say SEE!?!? We're NOT delusional. There is a plan here. There is!
Hee! "Fanfic-writer!Sheldon" loves the Shenelope!! HAH!
