I was reading the description for one of my world views classes that I will be taking next semester, and it got me thinking.

What do people from other nations think, and what are they taught about Americans?

Honestly I wasn't ever really taught anything huge about the US - I remember learning about the discovery of the new land, then later on about slavery, and then about Pearl Harbour. As it happens in Uni I studied African American music so I studied a lot of early 20th century north American culture ( ... )

I guess we kinda see the US like that... or maybe I should say that the impression we/I get from everywhere is like that... I've been in the US, and well, lets just say that it's very different from home. ;P ... but probably a lot alike too ( ... )
