I'm back. At least I think so.
There are only few things I can think about now. For example - downloading Faith No More "Evidence" video. This is both one of my favourite songs and videos ever.

Exactly how can it prove useful? (Or, regarding your previous comment in my journal, what are your dreams that you can accomplish with philosophy?)

Really - I'm curious. I've always looked at philosophy that doesn't have much of practical use save providing inspirational thoughts for research. But I learn something every day.

I do recall philosophy majors joining intelligence agencies, but then again, all sorts of majors join intelligence agencies, the necessary skills don't have anything to do with a particular field, only in specialized positions, not in field work. I guess.

Come to think of it, I don't know much about Polish intelligence agencies. Hmmmm *searchysearch* http://www.aw.gov.pl/english/index.html

Which PKD books have you read this far?

Hmpf, I don't have any dreams about/with philosophy anymore. Actually, generally I agree that it doesn't have practical use. Nonetheless it can be useful:
- Philosophy as methodology: Questioning foundaments of sciences, checking / revising experimental reaserches in context of veracity and true usefulness of their results.
- Clearing the language: Defining the ideas. Explanating, precising contexts of use. This clears not only language but also way of thinking.
- Mind exercise: Do I have to write more? :)

Year ago, I was seriously convinced that there's no life without philosophy. Now I see that life is everywhere else ;) I plainly want to know and I'm still not certain what exactly I want to know

mam "klany ksiezyca alfy" i "druciarza galaktyki", ktore chetnie oddam w dobre rece. poza tym moge Ci pozyczyc "doktora bluthgelda" - bo jeszcze sama nie przeczytalam. (tak, tak, ja zwykle oddaje przeczytane ksiazki, bo nie lubie jak mi sie stosikuja, a nie mam dobrej polki.)
