The logic is racist -- the object is to defeat Obama no matter what because he's black.

Please tell me people aren't as idiotic as that in the 21st century?

They'd rather have 100 years of war, permanent tax cuts for the rich and no chance for universal health care than someone who gives a shit about real people in the big chair just because of skin tone?

Yes.

There's also the perception that Hillary would be easier for McCain to defeat, so they want Hillary to win. This is the logic that got all the media buzz on Hillary when Edwards, who was a *much* stronger candidate, couldn't get air time. It got him out of the race.

The Republicans want to make sure McCain wins, by any means possible, whether racist, sexist or just plain deceptive.

Actually, news polls say Obama supporters have been making the same claim.

Personally, I'd like to see someone who will stop pandering to the extreme right or left, and speak to the ones in the middle, like me. Extremes don't accomplish anything. We've seen that with a conservative president and a liberal congress.

Keep in mind that McCain says the only reason women don't have equality in the workplace is because we need more education & training. So how can we possibly understand complicated things like this?

This is more about the Democratic idiots who think it's better to have McCain than Obama if Hillary doesn't get the nomination.

They'd rather have a hypocrite with a temper than anyone else if their BFF isn't in the game.
