The last few months been different, to say the least. My sister-in-law who is younger than I am, died of of complications of Lupus in July. She went into the hospital in June to fix a leaky valve, and she never came off the ventilator, they kept finding more problems. My late husband was not an insightful person. But, the morning my dad died unexpectedly in hospital, alone, I’ll never forget what he said as I was crying: “No one dies alone.”

I’m very, very sorry for your family’s loss.

And I respect your gumption to make the most with the world we have right now.

My condolences on your loss. it is so hard not being able to say goodbye properly to those one loves.

We all need things to keep our mind off what is happening in the world .

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my oldest brother, this summer, too, so I know what you are feeling. I hear you about the cruising. That's us, too. We are on hold.
