I recently watched Scott Pilgrim vs. the world and it's pretty awkward watching the film for a variety of reasons. You can see where I live, where I work (just steps down from the Casa Loma), the library I frequent three days a week, where I buy my underwear and eat my brunch and attend shows and I think I saw my ex boyfriend in the party scene

i tried watching the new woody on friday and saturday but it was sold out at all times (only playing at two theatres). I was so desperate that I attempted to show my woody tattoo to the ticket-holder to get them to give me their damn ticket 'cause dude, i'm a bigger woody allen fan. FOR REAL!

Alas, it did not work out and I plan on watching the film in two weeks because then, I'll have a ticket and no one will take it from my cold dead hands.

Yes, watch Scott again and you'll see the wychwood barn which is just a block away from where I live. You'll see the library where I take out books. You'll see the stairs to the casa loma and beneath is where I work. You'll see Honest Ed where I buy my intimate garments on the cheapo. Creepy. creepy.

the goodwill on st.clair west near wychwood? they painted the exterior neon green and it's really dumb.

which is your favorite thrift store? I don't go to goodwill anymore based on the fact that they overcharge on used clothing which is ridiculous. 20 bucks for a shirt? yeah, right.

omg, i thought i was the only who noticed the 50% price jump over the last year. Thank you Etsy and Ebay. Used to be bad enough that anyone who works at the thrift store gets first dibs, but now they're charging the same price as Winners. So no more Goodwill. Anywhere. Value Village still okay, but iffy. Sally Ann still gets the best stuff cause they're the oldest.
