Hairboy by Sheffield

His mother spit on her hanky and started to wipe his face and rearrange his hair. The stumps of his antennae felt funny when anyone touched them so he squirmed out of her grasp with a long-suffering "Nooooomi!"

I've been saying I don't like AUs, humor, or kidfic, and then this comes along and makes me eat my words. I love Starchild and his nubs and pointy ears. A lovely story that makes me all smiley.

Oh Sheffield! I just love your imagination! Your stories are always so fresh, entertaining, heart-breaking and yet make me laugh.
I could just picture little Blair having his hair slicked and being kissed in front of a bus full of kids. It gave me a fond smile.

But then when the kids became cruel, calling him names and pulling his hair...man. That just broke my heart. Wonderful justice done here though, as Blair 'reveals' the alien in everyone. I absolutely loved the last line, with Blair calling the meanest boy, short ears. Perfect.

I just finished this and really loved it. Was really thrilled that Blair or should I say Starchild, got revenge on all the kids without getting violent. It was very well written. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
