Thank you! The guy said he should have an answer for us by 3 o'clock today...looks like he really wants to get someone in there quickly. Our current landlords are insisting on 30 days notice, however, and the new place is inflexible about the April 1st start date, so it looks like we're going to be paying double rent for the first three weeks of April...Which kind of sucks, but on the other hand, it gives us 3 weeks to move all our stuff from one place to the other, which we may need, since this is all happening really quickly. It also gives us time to paint the new place, if we want to, and to do any fix-up work at the old place after we move out-cleaning, repainting, etc. So it'll probably work out well in the end.
Weee! A house! An honest-to-god, no neighbors pounding on the wall, no people walking on our heads, no elevators or staircases or people flooding our place from upstairs, house! So...coool.... A back yard! A front yard! A garden! A fireplace! Being about to have friends over without worrying about them laughing to loud and getting yelled at! Woohoo!
Be careful what you offer...we're more then willing to put our friends to work!
Honestly, though, an extra truck and some extra hands will be very helpful in the coming weeks. We've got a three week overlap between the two places, so we can make the move nice and leisurely, and ideally I'd like to do it without the added hassle and expense of renting a U-haul. Aside from a large couch, and a large bed, the bulk of our stuff is the little shit. Of course, we have WAY TOO MUCH of the little shit...
Woot! I clicked on the link and it had been deleted so I figured you got it, congrats! Not having to spend forever searching for a place is the best thing ever.
Wow, that guys does move fast. Here's a link to some digital camera pictures Josh took of the place yesterday. They don't really give a good idea of how cool the place is, since it was raining and they were in the middle of renovating it, but it gives you the basic idea. http://www.thegeekmovement.com/josh/househunting/index.html Out back behind the house there's a little fence that separates the back yard of our place from the place behind it, and the fence is nearly buried under mounds and mounds of star jasmine, which smells absolutely heavenly. I can't wait to get some chairs out there and just sit under it for a few hours.

Time is hellish, but I'm sure I can safely speak for all three of us when I say let us know what help you need.
