I followed a link to McSweeney's today and, as usual, got sucked into a couple of hours of reading and poking around on the site. There were a handful of pieces that I have to share.

What is McSweeney's, anyway? I posted something from them a few months ago, but I can't really figure them out. What's their deal?

I'm not sure either. I've spent a lot of time reading their stuff and poking around their page and as far as can tell they're an online literary magazine specializing in intellectual humor/satire with liberal leanings. That's the best I can come up with. A lot of their stuff references things beyond my ability to appreciate them, but the stuff above I find hilarious.
