Okay, so I can't help it. I have a weakness for girls with pianos. I have an even bigger weakness
for girls with guitars. And pretty much any girl that plays both and writes her own music is
worth a listen, in my opinion. But the thing is... once you listen to Missy Higgins once, you need
to listen again... and again... and again.

i love love love missy higgins. my favourite song is the special two (there's two versions but i like the acoustic one better). it makes me cry every single time.

thanks for making this post though. because it made me check to see if she has released anything new and it turns out she actually has a new album!

I like The Special Two, too. I haven't heard the acoustic version but I have a feeling I'd like it better than the other, I think it's a bit too instrument-heavy.

I don't know if acoustic is the right term to describe it though. It still has more than just the piano in it, but much less interuments than the album version does.

I think Sugarcane is my favourite from the new album. I guess I tend to like slower more depressing things.

Sugarcane is a great song, too. I usually like slow and depressing, too, but lately I've been happy (!!) and slow and depressing just doesn't work as well when you're super happy...

I have been in love with Missy for years! Her singing makes my heart melt. Ten Days is definetely my number one as well, but nightminds is a close second. I need to hear more of her new album!!

I only had a handful of her songs until a week or so ago - I knew I loved her but I could never find her album anywhere. But now I have both of her albums and they are amaaaazing.
