So I was talking to some friends and realized I've very different opinions than them on a lot of things. And I guess I just wanted to see what people in general think about homosexuality, three things in particular. So here's a poll - please vote. And I'm not friends-locking this entry, so if any of you have friends who might want to take this

Well, I commented in the little text box. But I randomly found your journal, and because I love taking quizzes and polls, I took this too :)

I'm having problems with the whole idea of being born straight or gay, because I don't think that it's a choice, necessarily, but I don't think that it's all from birth. I know that there's a conscious decision, somewhere, and we can't really know when it is, to open your mind to the possibility. If you're a gay man but refuse to acknowledge or act on the fact, can you really qualify that you're gay? It's one of those issues that complicates as it's debated. In an argument, I wouldn't say that it's a choice -- I'd be more likely to say that it's from birth.

But I also think that people aren't necessarily born one way, the other, or directly in the middle. I think that people are simply attracted to other people.

I make no sense.
