Hiro seems like a boy with a profound need to be in control of the situation. He is very untrusting of those he's not close to and desperatly protective and loyal of those he is. He also seems to try to be way too old for his age. Even after being here a while, "camp things" still genuinly piss him off. He does everything he can do to make himself feel like he has control of what really is a very chaotic situation (for example reading whatever book he could).

I don't see too many of your threads but I have seen SOME of them, but so far I get Hiro as a possibly introverted young boy. Who has trouble trusting most people he meets, and gives an air about him that he's more mature than he looks. He doesn't seem shy in speaking his mind or getting smart with people.
