Oh, wow. I like how you wove in canon, but one minor difference and everything changed. That was a really interesting take on how things could have gone, had Kate told him from the beginning. But I like how Peter was still there, and still cared, and hopefully, in the end will take Neal on as a CI still. Great job, especially in such a short time!

It seemed that with Neal rather badly hurt, Kate would have insisted on seeing him, and at that point sharing at least some information was only logical. I do wonder how things would have turned out in this universe, because Neal knowing what is happening doesn't really help him that much, and it might actually push Adler (and Fowler) into acting against them sooner. And I would really like to see how the Peter and Neal dynamic would have been affected by the subtle changes in the situation.

Ooh this is awesome, such an interesting version of the pilot. I love the way that Kate and Neal can communicate undercover. And awww, Neal clutching Peter's sleeve to calm himself. And his plans to point out how lucky Peter is to have him haha :) Great work!

Thank you :D It was fun to write the moments between Neal and Peter, since they're not quite friends yet, but they already have that spark of something between them when they care about each other, and in his panic, Neal trusts and turns to Peter rather than to any of the doctors.
And of course, Neal's plan to how to persuade Peter made me smile myself :D
