Because I liked U2 back when these guys were YOUNG and young-LOOKING. Adam just looks...old. It's the same shock I got on seeing Leif Garrett's mugshot on the news last week -- "that's LEIF GARRETT??" or when seeing Peter Frampton when he toured with Journey a couple years back ("he's BALD!?!").

You don't think of your idols getting old. You have the pictures & albums, and then you catch a current sight on the news, and you get shocked into remembering your own mortality...

I still think these boys look pretty damn good for their age, despite Ad' having grey hair. I've been a fan since I was in high school and I'm an aven more crazy, obsessed fan now.
