Well, those are the big two for me, along with the X-Files before it started getting stupid and my original fandom, Trek.

Tolkien is great, but sometimes you just want to see a girl staking vamps and making witty retorts (and genius witches and sexy tweedy sexy Watchers (yes, I'm a pervy Watcher fancier - Giles and Wesley)).
