Looking at the possible cast, I'm starting to agree with Moore and Gilliam - maybe it is unfilmable.

I'd quite to see it as a mini-series instead. I don't think a movie could really do a 12 part comic book justice, especially with so many cast members.

Despite covering completely different themes and story, I think Heroes got the right feel for the concept.

I was chatting about it with Steven, the boss at Dave's comics, when I picked up my order today. He thinks that we're too far past Watchmen for it to work now, and that Heroes did it better for the present climate.

Gilliam thought it needed to be at least a five part mini-series.
