Yep, Ladylark got it for me. One end is a UV pen and the other is a UV LED, so you can write secret messages that can only be read by shining the sonic screwdriver over them. We got a little carried away at New Year when we discovered that the pen worked quite well on skin - for some time shining the screwdriver over zevemiel's arm revealed the previously invisible skin grafitti 'Bad Wolf'.

Pesach = Passover = Festival of the Exodus/Unleavened Bread

Basically it means eight days of a very restricted diet, so that someone who keeps more than me wouldn't even have had the coffee out - Naomi wouldn't have, but I, obviously, would. It was from last wednesday evening to 9pm last night, so Naomi and I went out for supper last night and stuffed ourselves with the stuff we'd been deprived of for a week.

Our fasts are full-on fasts, where you can't even drink water, let alone coffee - I only do that once a year, though. 25hours where nothing passes my lips.

Well, there's this thing next sunday which I commented to you about, when I thought it might be nice to get a few of us together - it's an inaugeral comedy club compered by Lawrence Miles of Who novel writing fame so there'll be a fair few Who fans there to appreciate our footwear.
