Did you get my text yesterday? Tickets go on sale at midday tomorrow... There's also a documentary thing the day after, but it's a bit expensive, so i'm not sure about that. How was the film last night? That's being shown there too.
It's warm and sunny, and am very tempted to suggest we have our usual friday night dinner tomorrow, but barbecued! What do you think? Is that just silly?
Who are you again? Oh yes, I think I remember seeing you yesterday morning.
I did indeed get your text. I'm registered with the EIFF, so at midnight tonight I'll try to book. I'd like to find out exactly what the other thing is, but as you say it's rather pricey.
The talk last night was interesting. There were clips of the film, and it looks fascinating, so I told the director and producer that I'd see them at the screening on the 24th in Ed.
I've registered too, but I phoned the box office to check, and all booking opens at midday tomorrow. I think phoning will probably be quicker than doing it online so i'll do that tomorrow lunchtime (for all of us). Unless the phone line is solid, in which case i'll do it online.
I didn't realise it was just a talk last night, I thought it was actually a screeing of the film! Does that mean you're going to see it then? We can discuss tonight whether we all want to go or not (we should really have a look at our schedules properly). The 'other thing' is a documentary about Himself, from his beginnings in the industry up until what he's working on at the moment. Likelihood is that the subject of said documentary will be present.
Thank you. I remember when that community was actually quite good, with debates and the like. Now it's jus a few hundred annoying fangirls who claim to have read the books but still act like hormonal cretins.
It seems that my claws are really out today. Fangirls had best keep their distance.
I'll admit to the occasional bit of fangirlish behaviour - for some reason a certain Mr Bloom can make me act like a 14 year old again, most embarassingly - but I keep my fangirling apart from my Tolkiening.
Ok, so I have given some character silly nicknames, but, interestingly, I usually only refer to them as such when discussing more movieverse slanted things. I don't think I've ever referred to Horseboy, Legsy, Gandi or Lord Sourpuss when discussing the books. Odd, that.

Cars are good - producers are even better! Good luck with both!!

The producer is lovely. I've known her a little over a year now and she seems really enthusistic about working with me, regardless of the project.
