So.  I'm trying to get up to date with Heroes.  I'm through season 2 thanks to Netflix and just confirmed that they're still in season 3.  And that I don't have any easy access to the first, oh, 8 episodes because they're too old to still be on hulu or wherever.  Poop.  However, HRG is still one of my favorites, along with Matt and well, duh, Sylar ( Read more... )

Didn't I tell you about that before? I've known about that for ages. They announced it almost the same time they canned Atlantis.

We saw the concept pix that they've released when we were at the second con.

The one fellow that they have confirmed is Scottish, but the main thing that I've seen him in was from about a decade or so ago and I wasn't enchanted with. He's the acerbic, Machiavellian scientist, blah blah blah... Dr. Rush looks like an interesting character, and Scottish is always a bonus, but... ok, let's put it this way. The actor also played Durza in Eragon. Obviously in this he's not going to have fang-like teeth and long magenta/red hair, but he still kind of creeps me out right now.

Also,
ouch.

I'm looking forward to SGU. More character driven, even if they're ripping towards the young end of the scale for most of the characters. Did you know that the average SG viewer age is 47? Could've bowled me over with a feather.

Two of the characters have your name, too :D

I can't believe RTD said that. That's just MEAN.

I'm holding lots of hope! Like you said, more character-driven is definitely a plus.
