Due to the challenge: 'Several Ways to Die Trying,' I feel I should clarify that there is no actual character death in these fics.

Also, ALL of my writer friends should check out several_ways, which is a fascinating new multi-fandom challenge community. I love the idea of related ficlets or drabbles, and this is a great way to get inspiration! I hope to see ( Read more... )

VERONICA MARS! I'm so excited you wrote this challenge for them.

I love Keith's I think the best. Because V just doesn't understand. And it's heartbreaking. I've never cared so much for a father/daughter relationship on any show as I do for them.

Thank you! I hoped it was an okay use of the prompt. I have to say, of all the TV parents EVER...Keith is hands down my favorite.

Of course Veronica doesn't understand. She's a teenager. But their bond is unbreakable, and he will do anything for her. I love that about him. He's letting her live her own life, but he's way more aware of her than I think she realizes...even if he didn't catch on to this particular thing. :)

I love it! Beautifully written. My favorites have to be Weevils and Veronica's... Those are actually my views on life...

I'm so glad you liked them! I'm especially glad you liked that line in the Veronica fic--it was one of my favorites. :) And Weevil has always had a special place in my heart. :)

Very good. I especially liked the two ficlets about Duncan and Keith, and the parallel you draw between them.

Thank you! I didn't start out with the parallels, but they sort of developed, and I loved how I ended up with four drabbles, but really only two 'stories.' I'm glad you liked it.

Excellent! I like the Keith one best. I think that relationship is my favorite on the show, but then I love it when someone takes the time to explore a realtionship bewteen to people that doesn't fall into the romance catagory. I love it.

But anyway, awesome to see VM in our line up!

Thanks! This is a GREAT challenge community--I love the idea and the challenge of creating related drabbles/ficlets. It's not something I would have done on my own but it was really a lot of fun, and I love exploring the 'side' characters more fully. I found I've been doing that a lot lately, with all my fandoms.
