Oh. My. GOD. This is absolutely beautiful. I feel I should be hitching my skirts up and shrieking for my lost childhood, but well - Blossom and Alexander were always kind of destined for each other. I love how you've taken their childish interactions - Letty, the barn ghost, the mention of the Titanic, Blossom's mother and their financial circumstances - and given them an adult relationship. And you've got the dialect down perfectly; I can just hear both of them and Peck's signature descriptions. This read just like the long-lost fifth book, but meant for adult readers instead of teens.

Wow! Thanks for such lovely words! I had a lot of fun writing this and I adore the books, so I am glad I managed to capture the feel right - even if I did take a little knock at your childhood. ;)

Thanks again!

*WILD APPLAUSE*
This was my prompt, and I am so, so amazed and delighted by your fill! Richard Peck is one of my favorite authors, and you've done an incredible job capturing his prose and characters- there wasn't a line I didn't believe. I've been wanting Alexander/Blossom porn for basically forever, and this was hotter than I ever dared dream!

I was SO excited when I saw this prompt because I had just re-read the books recently and was feeling like I was the only person in the world who had read them/

I am so happy I met your expectations and, what's more, I'm happy to have found someone else who's read these!
