Dammit Dammit, shit shit shit and dammit.

So I joined a gym a week ago.  So lovely and close.  A whole 7 minutes walk.  Since then I have broken the drought.  Why is it that every time I do a major change to my life mother nature steps in and makes it difficult for me?  I worked out 3 times this week, which was my goal and I had a spare day up my ( Read more... )

Doh! Hope the ankle's not too bad...and there are things you can do at the gym that don't involve using your ankle.
Or invest in a good set of hand weights - mine get a good deal of use when my knees or hips are playing up.

It'll be cooler, surely, if you're having rain
I'm very pleased you've signed up with a gym, I've been going three times (mostly) a week for some years now and it's the only exercise I get so keep it up girl
Besides - you've probably paid in advance?
And there ARE exercises you can do even if you got a twisted ankle! Do they have spunky young personal trainers who will make you a special programme?
