So...this is college? Abigail Smith thought as she stepped onto the small patch of land that would be her university home. She was truly quite excited. She was almost an adult and college meant her first experience living independently. It would certainly be something she wouldn't forget. Oh, and of course the higher education bit was also important! Because of the scholarships she'd collected, Abigail had enough money to rent a house on campus, where she planned to build the foundation of her family's Greek House. Of course, being new to university, Abigail didn't have any friends or know of any people who would even join her house and because the rented housing cost so much, she was a little limited on funds as well...
But that was just fine with Abigail! She had plenty of time to raise money and expand on this glorious house. Besides, her siblings would be joining her at La Fiesta Tech soon enough and that meant five house members right off the bat. Everything would be fine; for now, all Abigail had to do was concentrate on doing well in her studies.
After getting the morning paper, Abigail scanned it for some entertainment and ended up in the Classifieds. To her surprise, she found an opening in the Oceanography career and of course, a lightbulb went off in her head! She briefly wondered if she'd be able to balance a job and her college career, but she wasn't too worried about it. Such opportunities only came so often and Abigail didn't want to lose the chance to really get her foot in the door with her lifetime want. So...she took the job! Besides, it'd help to have a steady source of income, especially if she was planning on renovating the house.
Abigail didn't remain alone forever though. A professor (whom she soon found out taught none of her classes) approached her house and welcomed her to La Fiesta Tech. At first, Abigail thought it was nice of him to stop by, but then it got a little creepy... Luckily, he left before overstaying his welcome too much.
It wasn't too long after that the rest of the Smith children finally joined their older sister at La Fiesta! All of them ready for college parties, forming a Greek House and that rumored higher education thing! Not to mention all of them eligible for heir...
Just to remind you, this is Daria Smith, the youngest of the Smith children. She is a Romance and Fortune oriented sim with the lifetime want to become the hand of Poseidon. Her hobby is sports, she's turned on by black hair and unemployed sims and she's turned off by custom hair. Her personality stats are 5/5/10/5/6, making her a Scorpio. Daria decided to major in Biology.
This is Callie Smith, the fourth born. She's a Pleasure and Knowledge oriented sim with the lifetime want to become a professional party guest. Her hobby is music and dance, she's turned on by blond hair and hard workers and she's turned off by charismatic sims. Her personality stats are 5/8/4/7/6, making her a Taurus. Callie is majoring in Literature.
This is Aiden Smith, the third born. He's a Popularity and Family oriented sim with the lifetime want to become a celebrity chef. His hobby is science, he's turned on by black hair and high mechanical skill and he's turned off by hats. His personality stats are 10/10/3/2/3, making him an Aries. Aiden majors in Philosophy.
This is Bailey Smith, the second born. She is a Popularity and Knowledge oriented sim with the lifetime want to become the mayor. Her hobby is science, she's turned on by stink and full-face makeup and she's turned off by blond hair. Her personality stats are 9/5/5/8/6, making her a Capricorn. Bailey is majoring in Drama.
And this, of course, is Miss Abigail Smith, the oldest of the Smith children. She is a Knowledge and Popularity oriented sim with the lifetime want to become the hand of Poseidon (just like Daria). Her hobby is science, she's turned on by unemployed sims (like Daria...) and good cooks, but is turned off by custom hair (...also like Daria). Her personality stats are 10/6/4/5/5, making her a Virgo. Abigail is studying in the Biology major (again, like Daria).
Despite a couple of the kids wanting to be the more popular sims on campus, none of the Smiths seemed to mind living together in a pretty cramped two floor rented house. Rather, they took to this kind of college lifestyle with considerable ease. This made things pretty chill and easy-going for everyone--including Sylvia Kittredge and Michael Carver, the scientists who were still watching over the Smiths, even when they were in college.
Even though her siblings were surprised to hear that Abigail got an actual job on top of all the work she was getting from her professors, Abigail was headstrong and planned on keeping this job for as long as she could. She insisted that they needed the income, especially if they were going to set up this Greek House anytime soon. While her siblings agreed on that point (and also agreed that it was particularly uncomfortable that all of them had to sleep in the same room), they thought getting a full time job was a bit too much. Each of them volunteered to do their own thing to pitch in for funds--all of them planned on getting high grades and getting grants, but there were also suggestions of working as a barista on campus or performing at a campus club or freestyling on the streets...
And it looked as if it would have to come to that because Abigail didn't hold her job for very long at all. She was fired because of her obvious fatigue and inability to complete even the most basic of tasks in her state. Still, her employer knew her from when she had a job as a teen and promised this wouldn't reflect badly if she tried to get into the Oceanography career again as an adult. However, that was the least of Abigail's worries right then. She and her siblings still didn't have a steady source of income and not only were there five mouths to feed and dreams of a Greek House--they already had bills coming in the mailbox!
But they didn't let that get them down. Instead, the kids focused on what they could do to help out their Greek House-to-be. Bailey, being a Popularity sim, had no qualms about lounging outside waiting for students to pass by. She'd greet them with a bright smile and tried her best to win them over with her charming personality. She made a couple of friends and when she brought up the future Greek House, Bailey even got a few promises (albeit, half-hearted ones) of stopping by to pledge once everything was official.
Aiden, also a Popularity sim, was also happy to greet passerby and try to win them over. However, his methods were a little different from his twin's. He usually literally charmed them. This blondie, Chris Buckingham, was especially taken with Aiden and promised to stop by the house more often, even if they didn't apply for a Greek House charter after all. Perhaps those hours spent preening in the mirror really did help boost Aiden's confidence and romancing skills.
Callie, on the other hand, took a more subdued approach to greeting and enchanting guests. She'd casually invite them in, tell them they could help themselves to whatever food was available (Aiden was appointed as the house cook because of his high cooking skill, so it was likely something delicious) and then chill in the living room, watching TV or playing darts while having some idle conversation. Callie actually ended up doing these activities for the rest of her college career.
...Not surprisingly, she made a couple of friends this way.
Meanwhile, Aiden was upstairs making friends with--yes, you guessed it--Chris Buckingham in his sister's bed!
...You can't say his methods weren't effective though.
The Smiths actually had many things going for them. They were all attractive sims with their own respective skills and personalities. Aiden was a good cook, Daria was a good musician, Abigail was smart in general, Callie knew how to have fun, Bailey was the easiest to get along with--and so on and so forth. Greek House or not, they were guaranteed to be very popular on campus.
As the days went on, Abigail grew more and more pleased with how things were going. All of the Smiths were doing well in their classes, they were all making friends, no one had gone into aspirational failure... It was nice. A couple of semesters later, they had enough money to expand on the house a little bit (which was more fantastic than words could say)...
And enough money to finally apply for that Greek House charter and buy those official, fancy looking Greek letters. That day, the Smith Household officially became the Annya Hoh Cham House!
And for just starting out, their house had some pretty good stats. Then again, starting off with five members didn't exactly make that too hard, now did it? Still, the Smiths weren't settling. They had two Greek Houses already well established on campus to compete with! And although they already had more members than both of those Houses, they probably didn't have as many connections.
So, in their own ways, they worked on those connections. Here's Aiden, making a connection with a pretty redhead named Nancy Benson. Not that you can see either of them. I'm sure you can feel the deep connection between them though... And to believe, Aiden's not even a Romance sim! Well, he is Popularity... Perhaps he meant he wished to be popular with the ladies?
Other guests and friends started stopping by the house more often and for longer periods of time, now that it was a Greek House. Some were hoping to get an offer for a pledge. Others were just holding out for some delicious, free pizza! And others, such as the infamous cheerleader Maura Ebadi, were just there to do their coursework. Understandable; sometimes the dorms were too crowded and too loud. Of course, there was always a party at the Annya Hoh Cham House, but there were rooms just for studying too. The Smiths knew they all had to keep their grades up if they expected to make anything of themselves (and their House)!
Aiden had been doing alright in college. He was getting good grades, he was well liked by both his professors and his peers... He didn't really do anything wrong. Well, except for flirting with pretty much every female who caught his eye. And sleeping with a couple of them. But for some reason, he was woken in the middle of the night by a strange girl who proceeded to do a chicken dance and confuse the hell out of him! Maura's cheering in the background didn't really help matters either...
However, it shocked Aiden (and Carver and Kittredge, who were also watching the scene unfold), when the strange girl whipped out a pair of handcuffs and arrested Aiden! He protested of course! He knew he had done no crime.
"If you're here for some kinky stuff, I'm not the guy for that," Aiden tried to girl, but she just told him to shut up and come with her. Back in their lab in Eden, Carver and Kittredge shared a look. Had the university found out about the Smith's background? Were they taking Aiden in for questioning? Were they going to grill him about his robot heritage? The scientists didn't want to believe it, but La Fiesta Tech was popular for students coming from Strangetown. Perhaps an enemy of the scientists had found out about the Smith experiment!
Thankfully, the scientists had nothing to worry about. Aiden was just getting initiated into the campus' Secret Society! Despite how excited he was about this, Aiden spared a moment to glare at the girl who had abducted him. "There was no need to be so rough with me," he grumbled, but he couldn't be heard over the whoops, hollers and claps of the small crowd of society members that had come out to join him. The scientists shared another look still. They had heard about such secret societies, but had never seen one for themselves. It was rumored that there were incredible research opportunities available in these secret societies--that one could even maintain contact with those beyond the grave!
However, it seemed that Aiden wasn't interested in that aspect of the society. He took a quick tour of the building before heading outside and playing chess with another member on the back deck. That was just fine; thanks to Aiden's little tour, Carver and Kittredge had seen more than enough. While they themselves were interested in this technology, they hoped the Smiths would be careful if they ever decided to conduct experiments with those kinds of things. Messing with the paranormal, the supernatural--even regular everyday electrical appliances--could prove to be harmful to the special family. Carver and Kittredge didn't want any harm coming to their precious legacy family.
Back at the AHC House, things were heating up between Abigail and the Llama Mascot, Ryker Hurt. Ryker liked to visit the Greek House quite often and it was no secret that he was attracted to Abigail. Abigail had little experience with men (in other words, she'd focused on her job and studies as a teen and barely had her first kiss before going to college), and didn't really know how to deal with Ryker.
Things seemed to work themselves out in the end though. Ryker was sweet and even though he'd never taken off his llama mask in front of Abigail, she was sure he was attractive. No matter what he looked like though, she couldn't deny she was attracted to him. He brought out her fun, more relaxed side and even managed to get her to crack a smile when he started doing the school cheer. Abigail had never felt this way about any guy before and she was glad she'd given Ryker a chance.
So of course Ryker joined the AHC House! For the record, he's a Family and Knowledge oriented sim majoring in Art. His hobby is cuisine, he's turned on by blond hair and athletic sims, but turned off by black hair. His personality stats are 7/5/4/4/5, making him a Cancer. While Ryker did lose the llama mask and suit, he didn't lose his school spirit at all and continued to run around the house, cheering with whoever would join him. While it was pretty endearing, it got kind of annoying after a while.
Abigail was able to think of a good way to shut Ryker up though.
And finally, Abigail got to use her own bed for her romantic pursuits!
Soon after that, Ryker decided that Abigail was simply the one and she felt quite the same way about him. So he romantically proposed to her in the House living room, in front of Bailey, who looked quite uninterested in the whole event with her silk pajamas on. But neither Ryker nor Abigail seemed to care.
They were just ecstatic to be such a happy couple. They were kind of like Addison and Jane, in the early days--just pure love and romance and unadulterated feelings. They brought out the best in each other and they clearly made each other very happy. Everyone in the house claimed they'd seen it coming from the very first day Ryker hopped into their Greek House with his llama suit on and tried to get Abigail to put down her assignment for just a second to join him in a school cheer.
While Abigail and Ryker were the only happy couple in the House, the other Smith children were also up to their own romantic business... Some more than others. Aiden's sisters were beginning to wonder if he really was a Romance sim. He barely seemed to think twice about sleeping with a different girl almost every other night. Abigail liked to think her little brother was just being a typical guy in college and making the best out of what were supposed to be his golden years, but truth be told, she was a little worried about the bad habits he was developing. She didn't want to see anyone get hurt.
Relationships were always forming at the Annya Hoh Cham House. Bailey quickly realized (after coming into contact with many attractive females on campus) that she, like Callie, was a lesbian, but the usually outgoing and mischievous Bailey found herself withdrawing when she was around a girl she actually liked. She didn't really have any serious crushes or anything, but she was attracted to Maura Ebadi, so it was slightly awkward when Bailey asked Maura to pledge for the House. Maura accepted, not noticing any weirdness. They had their first pledge!
Soon after that, a whole campaign to gather pledges started. Aiden needed an excuse to throw a toga party, so he decided to throw one for pledge recruiting and invited all the girls he'd been fooling around with recently. While that sounded like a horrible idea, none of his siblings said anything. If any drama happened, it would be on him. Needless to say, every single one of the girls Aiden invited showed up.
The first girl Aiden managed to corner was Chris Buckingham, the first girl he'd ever slept with. He had a nice connection with Chris. They understood each other on more than just a physical level, but Chris was actually a Romance sim, so she was really in it for the good times Aiden provided (and was notorious for on campus). In any case, she accepted his offer of a pledge.
The next girl he asked to pledge was Nancy Benson, another one of his many conquests. Nancy was genuinely sweet though and seemed to actually like Aiden. They also matched, being the only two at a toga party to be in their sleepwear. Nancy also agreed to become a pledge with no problems. Maybe Aiden's popularity with the ladies really would help the Greek House.
In other news, Abigail...was pregnant. Just like with her mother, there was no morning sickness and not much discomfort. There was hardly any warning before she simply popped one night at the dinner table. It came as a big surprise to both her and Ryker, but neither of them seemed particularly upset or flustered about it. Ryker was, of course, a Family sim, so he was partially ecstatic about the thought of them starting a family--although he would've preferred if it hadn't been so early in their relationship (and college career). Abigail was willing to keep the baby, but she was a little bitter. Having to take care of another life inside of her and then actually having the baby could setback her studies and then her career once she graduated. But Abigail figured all she could do right now was take things day by day.
But everything else carried on normally. Even though Abigail's first priority became her and the baby's health, her studies and the AHC House were also very high on the list. Whenever she had a free moment, she'd greet any passerby and just talk to them about the benefits of Greek Life and all the wonderful things AHC had to offer. One of these passerby happened to be Stella Terrano, a girl most of La Fiesta Tech had heard plenty about. It was rumored that she was alien royalty and that she could read human auras...
At any rate, Michael Carver and Sylvia Kittredge were very interested in Miss Stella.
Daria Smith, on the other hand, was interested in other things. Like men. So far, specifically one man, Corbin Terrill, who happened to once have hit on her own mother. Daria didn't seem to mind at all though. She was a Romance sim, after all--she'd take them if they were interested in her! And Corbin was interested.
Oh yes. He was definitely interested.
It was a couple of semesters into the school year and the Smith children had raised enough money to move to a different house, which meant they could expand their Greek House even more! And expand they did. There were now more bedrooms than there were members of AHC, which was great compared to the one bedroom all of them had to share in the previous house. Unfortunately, there was still only one double bed, but Abigail was working hard on raising money for a second one so that her bed wouldn't always be used for everyone else's dirty deeds. It was really starting to get to her.
As soon as they moved, the AHC members threw a toga party as a kind of housewarming party and invited pretty much everyone--including the Smith parents. Addison and Jane didn't really do much except gross everyone out with high amounts of PDA. Callie also showed her parents how well she was doing in college...
Not to be outdone, Aiden also showed his parents how well he was doing in college by making out with Chris in front of them--and all the other girls he was currently messing around with. No one seemed to mind or care though. Just another typical day with the Smiths, really.
Daria also snagged her first kiss from Corbin that night. Yes, that's right--this is her first kiss. She's slept with him, but she's never kissed him before. It was certainly a little backwards, but that's Daria Smith for you. Carver and Kittredge were a little worried about the Smith children's romantic habits though. Promiscuity seemed to come naturally to them and their mating and seduction methods (if they could even be called so) were strange, to say the least. The scientists weren't really sure if this was because of their mixed DNA...or the fact that they were just college students.
But Daria, as a Romance sim, seemed to have the right to have several men at her side at all times. Until then, she only had Corbin, but a certain Bill Tse, who was actually a student at La Fiesta, also showed some interest in her. And who was Daria to resist his charms?
Aiden continued to use his sister's (and her fiancé's, for that matter) bed for his extracurricular activities.
It was also around this time that Chris' time as a pledge was up and so Aiden asked her to move into the AHC House as a full member! Chris didn't hesitate to say yes at all. Actually living in the same house as Aiden meant easier access to...uh...his coursebooks. Because that was what Chris wanted from Aiden. Right.
In any case, she promptly received a makeover! Chris Buckingham is a Romance and Knowledge oriented sim who's majoring in Drama. Her hobby is games, she's turned on by custom hair and great cooks and she's turned off by sims who are good at cleaning. Her personality stats are 5/5/3/3/4, making her a Taurus.
Daria got a housewarming gift from a couple of broken appliances in the kitchen. She went to fix the trash compactor and got shocked and then tried to fix the dishwasher and got shocked again! She probably would've tried to fix them a third time had Aiden not stepped in and fixed them himself. The funny thing was, Daria didn't seem to be too badly affected by the shocks. Carver and Kittredge had worried that such high voltage would've short circuited what robotic parts Daria had in her, but if anything, she seemed more energized after the shocks. It was a curious observation indeed. Perhaps the children were more robotic than they seemed.
Here's a look of what every day in the AHC House was like--basically. Aiden and Chris weren't even an actual couple and yet, they showed PDA more than any other pair in the house. Any moment one of them wasn't off doing something else, you could bet they were getting some heavy lip-locking action in. Funnily enough, neither of them seemed to want to settle down. Also, don't mind the cow mascot in the background creepily staring at this PDA. The cow also become a regular installment in the AHC household.
Bailey Smith is why.
To everyone's surprise (and total confusion), Bailey managed to fall in love with the evil cow mascot. Underneath the suit was a girl named Tamara Vu, but hardly anyone besides Bailey knew that nor did they care. To everyone else, Tamara was actually evil. She started fights like no other and pulled numerous pranks and taunted the House members endlessly. But when it came to Bailey, she showed the softer side that no one knew she even had. But, seeing as Tamara was the evil cow mascot, their relationship could never go anywhere.
Maybe that was why Bailey turned to Stella Terrano. Ever since Stella had first come to their house, Bailey had thought she was the most interesting and beautiful creature she'd ever laid eyes on. Bailey had a big crush on Miss Stella and Stella sure thought the Smiths were interesting. She'd once said she got a strange vibe from the house that felt almost supernatural (which had worried Carver and Kittredge), but that it was a good thing. She and Bailey clicked and had developed a nice friendship. Bailey thought they had the potential to become more than friends.
Stella apparently didn't agree. Bailey's little heart was broken and she was so embarrassed she didn't know what to do. She thought she'd definitely fudged up her relationship with Stella by making the moves on her, but Bailey wasn't going to stick around to see if that was true. She ran back into the house and stopped talking to Stella after that night because she had no idea what to say to the pretty alien.
But as always, life went on. One day, a dodgy looking gypsy crept onto the front steps and left a lovely little gift. Ryker brought the lamp in, absolutely fascinated with it, but before he (or anyone else) could do anything with it, Bailey sold it, claiming she didn't want anyone messing around with weird magic. Aiden was probably the only one in the house who truly understood.
Nancy Benson soon completed her time as a pledge and became a full member. She also moved into the AHC House and got a makeover! Nancy is a Popularity and Knowledge sim majoring in Drama. Her hobby is music and dance, she's turned on by swimwear and unemployed sims and she's turned off by logical sims (who knows why). Her personality stats are 4/10/4/4/3, making her a Leo. It should also be noted that Miss Benson is bisexual.
Nancy wasn't the only one to complete her pledge period. Nawwaf Collin, a friend of Aiden's, also became a full member but chose not to move into the house (mostly because it was getting quite crowded in there--mostly) and Maura Ebadi was very close to getting that full membership. It was nice to see that AHC was doing very well. They were definitely the most popular Greek House on campus!
Another pledge became a full member! It seemed the AHC members would have to start scouting for more pledges! Jasmine Deppiesse, another one of Aiden's flings, was also welcomed into the AHC House with open arms.
Jasmine also received a cute makeover. She's a Fortune and Family oriented sim who is majoring in Political Science. Her hobby is film and literature, she's turned on by facial hair and makeup and she's turned off by hats. Her personality stats are 7/4/1/8/5, making her a Capricorn and Jasmine is also bisexual.
Now that he was living in the same house as almost all of his sweethearts (yeah, there's still one other...), one would think that Aiden would be getting pretty overwhelmed by now. How could he possibly juggle all those girls? He had no such problems. Considering he wasn't actually seriously involved with any of the girls, none of them had any problems sharing him. Or at least, that's what it seemed like. But it was clear that Aiden was getting more than his fair share of action. It seemed like every time he'd turn around, there'd be another girl waiting to kiss him or something. Back in the lab, Michael was pretty jealous.
Michael wasn't the only jealous one. Bailey was a little envious of all the action her siblings were getting. Daria had her guys, Aiden had his girls, Callie was cool with just chilling and Abigail had Ryker. All Bailey had was Tamara and considering everyone else in their house hated it when Tamara came over, that wasn't saying much. So Bailey went to her friendly neighborhood gypsy matchmaker for some help.
And here is Bailey's date--Emma Centowski.
Emma was nice enough, really. She was even quite pretty (especially when you didn't let her horrid fashion choices distract you from her face). But she and Bailey didn't click. There was just no real chemistry there and the both of them felt that. Bailey wasn't going to try to force her way into anyone's heart just because of a little jealousy, so she suggested that she and Emma just stay friends and everything was fine again.
Not so long after Bailey's failed date, Aiden surprisingly rolled the want to get engaged to one of his many sweethearts! Nancy Benson was the lucky girl and they did have really good chemistry. (Admittedly though, I was a little surprised it wasn't Chris.)
So with thoughts of engagement in mind, Aiden took Nancy to bed one more time...
...and then oh-so-romantically proposed to her with them in their PJs. Nancy was totally caught off guard, but said yes with no hesitation!
But with Aiden rolling wants to get engaged to other women (immediately after proposing to Nancy), it only makes you wonder just how long this engagement will last...
